About Katy Ibarra
Katy Ibarra is an attorney with a strong commitment to professional excellence and community service. A proud Hunt County native, Katy earned her Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Texas A&M University-Commerce before graduating Cum Laude from Liberty University School of Law in Lynchburg, Virginia.
While at Liberty, Katy was an active member of the Trial and Negotiation Teams, honing her skills in litigation and conflict resolution. She competed in prestigious national competitions, including the American Association for Justice Trial Advocacy Competition, the Professional Football Negotiation Competition, and the American Bar Association’s National Arbitration Competition. In 2024, she earned First Place in her region and Second Place nationally in the ABA Arbitration Competition, highlighting her exceptional talent in alternative dispute resolution.
In addition to her legal practice, Katy serves as an adjunct professor at Liberty University School of Law, where she is passionate about mentoring the next generation of attorneys. She is deeply dedicated to supporting families and strengthening her community, bringing a compassionate, client-focused approach to every case she handles.
